Meet Our Vibrant Team!

DC Kiyemba

Chairman of the Board

DC Kiyemba, CPA, CCSA, MBA: Born at Bugonga Entebbe, grew up in Nkozi (location of the Uganda Martyrs’
University) went to St Henry’s College Kitovu, and the University of Northern Colorado; worked for
the former Uganda Commercial Bank, Bank of Uganda, Lucky Quarter Dairy – quite a learning experience,
Denver Treasurer’s Office, Denver International Airport, etc. etc. etc. Married with children, but
who is counting? Not a Denver Native, but came as soon as I could. Came to the US three decades ago,
and have spent most of them in Colorado, save for a year in Texas, and two in Minnesota. Denver, CO
is the home away from home. Volunteered for the Association Board to help revive and unite the
community, see how the community could develop its full potential. Play ping-pong a.k.a. table tennis
occasionally, and tennis now and then. I enjoy a good tune, no matter the origin. I hope to become a
better traditional instruments player, when I grow up…. Welcome to our website, hope you learn a lot,
maybe something you did not know before. Come back soon, we are glad you came/visited! God Bless.
